John Fosina brings more than three decades of leadership in investment management, finance and operations to Pepper. He served as Co-Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of York Capital Management, the New York-based global alternative investment firm, where he chaired the firm’s Valuation Committee, co-chaired its Operating Committee, and sat on its Executive, IT, and Risk Management Committees.

Prior to York, John spent over two decades at Merrill Lynch in a series of senior finance and administrative roles, including Chief Administrative Officer of Merrill Lynch Investment Managers, Head of Internal Audit, and Corporate Controller. He holds a BS in Accounting from Wake Forest University, where he served on the Board of Visitors of the School of Business.

John is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive) licensed by the State of North Carolina. At Pepper, John advises on the operational, valuation, and financial-control realities that COOs and CFOs of alternative asset managers face every day — the exact problems Pepper is built to solve.
