Eric Mueller

Eric Mueller is Chief Revenue Officer at Pepper, where he leads global go-to-market strategy, revenue growth, and client engagement for the firm’s AI-powered platform serving alternative investment and private credit managers.

Eric brings extensive experience building and scaling technology-enabled services and solutions across financial services. Over the course of his career, he has partnered with leading financial institutions to streamline operations, enhance data management, and implement technology-driven solutions that drive efficiency, scalability, and growth.

Prior to joining Pepper, Eric spent more than five years at D2 Legal Technology, where he advised clients on complex transformation initiatives and helped build and scale high-growth service offerings. He has a strong track record of developing strategic client relationships and leading cross-functional teams to deliver impactful, enterprise-level solutions.

Earlier in his career, Eric held senior leadership roles at leading global financial institutions. At JP Morgan, he served as Chief Data Officer, leading enterprise-wide data strategy, governance, and regulatory programs across a global organization. At Bank of America Merrill Lynch, he served as Chief Operating Officer for the Global Equity Derivatives business, overseeing strategy, operations, and technology for a multi-billion-dollar trading platform. Eric began his career at Merrill Lynch, where he led the spin-out of several proprietary trading desks into standalone hedge funds, spanning both multi-strategy and distressed credit. This experience provided him with deep, first-hand insight into the operational and technology challenges faced by alternative investment managers.

At Pepper, Eric is focused on accelerating growth by helping clients fully leverage the platform to manage investments across the entire lifecycle—from origination through portfolio management and reporting. He is particularly passionate about applying AI to eliminate persistent data fragmentation and manual processes, enabling investment teams to operate more efficiently and make faster, more informed decisions.

Eric has deep experience working with global institutions across private credit and alternative investments, and is committed to helping Pepper clients modernize their operating models through innovative, technology-driven solutions.
